Territories brings together the works that define the current language of Rinaldo Marasco.
Each composition begins with a simple, recognisable form — a circle, a heart, a figure, a gesture. From a distance, the image appears immediate and almost self-evident. As the gaze lingers, it gradually unfolds into an intricate ecosystem of interconnected forms, autonomous details and hidden narratives.
Developed through an intuitive and accumulative process, without preliminary drawing or predetermined composition, these works emerge progressively. Forms appear, connect and evolve according to their own internal logic, revealing visual territories where perception continuously shifts between the whole and its countless fragments.
Rather than illustrating a subject, Territories invites the viewer to experience a gradual transformation of perception. Meaning is never imposed. It emerges through attention, curiosity and time.
